SOFT IS THE NEW STRONG
Owning & loving these aspects of me & you fully right now
My Flowing Thoughts ... Whilst on this “spiritual path” I truly aspire to love others unconditionally. I strive to not get attached, to love without limits & to give even when others are not giving. Whilst at the same point in time in my “human experience” I’m attempting to have “healthy personal boundaries”. So this seems to require I place conditions on love... that I create clear boundaries that must be honored if we’re to continue investing in the connection. I want to stay in the heart using loving ways of negotiating needs, & letting others know the potential consequences of not taking them into consideration. How can I reconcile these two seeming opposing goals?
- Is the Love unconditional. Yet relationships are not? -
We can aspire to love others unconditionally, yet in impersonal ways. Meaning that I can strive to extend love, to bless & to forgive a person in my heart, even when I no longer want to spend time with them because of how they’ve treated me.
When we willingly begin any relationship, we’re essentially entering into a covenant that includes friendship, safety, goodwill & honor as the currency of relationship.
- Before inviting another into the inner chambers of the heart, Do we need make sure they are also committed to & capable of stretching themselves to holistically support both growth & wellbeing? -
Specifically in close relationships, I now feel it is appropriate to have healthy expectations that the others care about feelings, freedoms to be & needs that they also take into account when making decisions. I feel it’s also appropriate for them to expect this of me... building trust between us.
So Love others unconditionally, yes. But be aware & wise when choosing who to let into your time, space & heart.
I am SACRED . SENSITIVE . SELECTIVE . SPECIFIC & SOULFULLY Thankful for those who see & celebrate these qualities In themselves & me.
I see you too shinning star Quantum love Deb Taylor
